Commonly known as expatriates (a term they don’t necessarily endorse!), these men and women have made this country their home and have become integral to modern India. From fashion and film to fitness and food, they bring their skills, talent and love for adventure to our cultural melting pot. These are their stories.
GUEST 1 # Virginie has been a professional photographer since 1991. She studied photography at the Academy of Arts in Ghent, Belgium, which is her country of origin. In her last year she studied at the Arts and Design College of Bournemouth in the U.K, the start of her overseas adventure. A move to Guinea in West Africa in 1994 triggered a big life change and consequently formed her photography style. After Guinea-Conakry she lived in Nigeria and in Ghana for ten years.
GUEST 2# Virginie Bompoil, a woman who left her home in France & moved to Chennai, Owner of Vision partagée consulting private limited,. She has passion for food and would like to bring French cuisine into India and build a bridge betweenFrance and India. What a better way to do it than through food. Her Services include : Teaching French cooking class ,Serving French breakfast and homemade French lunch, Consultant on French cuisine
GUEST 3# Peter Bird , a highly committed founding Superintendent of International Village School Chennai, India. He is passionate about pupils and their development and he believes that establishing a love of learning from an early age is essential for students to reach their full potential. He has the reputation of building high quatity schools in the UK and the Middle east.
