Why training venues are important ?

A lot of people stress on how a training should be conducted – the delivery and the content – the ignored or the most important aspect of any training program is the set up itself, the environment of the training .

How do you feel to sit in a place where it is uncomfortable? Yes, you will walk away if you have a choice. Training spaces and venues should be comfortable to the participants. It aids learning. A positive  learning space makes you think .

A few aspects to look into while deciding the  your training venue or space. :

  1. The most important aspect is the lighting , natural light is good , it gives energy and charges you. Natural light is a natural rejuvenate. It gives energy flow . You will be naturally productive.  There are many training spaces which are crammed , lack energy , this affects your training quality .
  2.  Another important aspect is the SPACE , the space in the training venue. I would rate it as the most important aspect if people want to explore more about themselves and make the training impactful. We must understand a great space is all about great energy. Ideally, 15 square feet for a person is comfortable space, which means 150 square feet will be comfortable for 10 people.  In a good training program, people might want to get up , move around, sit down and get involved into things.
  3. Creativity of the space – it is about colors, it is about creation, it is about art work which attract positive vibes, how do you feel to be in a place without much positive vibes.
  4.  A creative training environment can change the mindset of people, INSTANTLY, they will look around, they feel positive, they feel charged up in the environment. It is about bringing energy to the place.American neurologist Alice Flaherty in her book The Midnight Disease, talks about the neural basis of creativity:

“A creative idea will be defined simply as one that is both novel and useful (or influential) in a particular social setting.”
